Thinking of getting the free motion quilter thing

How's that for tech talk? I need to get better at free motion quilting. A long arm is way out of the budget. But I could get the fabumotion for my Viking SE. Have not decided what I want to do. Save and invest in mid-arm and frame. Or stay with what I got and add a free motion thing to it. I also need a heat press. Always something I need to advance into more profittable quilting. Good thing I love it.

Mad rush for the Holidays

I have THREE quilts to finish and ship by Christmas. Will I make it??? Gosh I hope so. What was I thinking taking so many orders for Christmas deadline? I will get it done. I am good under pressure ;o)

Lots of stuff goin one here but it's either rahter personal or boring so I will spare ya. Back to the sewing machine and iron. Pics coming soon.

This is my kitchen valance. It is not even close to done. I wanted to see what it looked like and it has not made it down yet.. Hopefully soon I will get it down and done.

Then I think I will start on a valnce out of them for my kitchen window. I just love the look of them.

Lots to do and nothing to share.

I have a ton of things on my do to list and not a dang thing is done. I am finishing our tree skirt up from ten years ago. It looks much better but I'd rather just start over with a all new one. I KNOW my hubby would not go for that. I made this one our first christmas before I knew what sewing really was. It's a sad little tree skirt but holds all our christmas memories in it I guess. So I will keep it and try to spruce it up a bit.

I am quilting a commisioned childs clothes quilt. It came out pretty well and the quilting is going well. It should be done in a day or so.

The I NEED to get going on some curtians for this house. Not my fave thing to sew but needs done. So I will go with those next and maybe a few fun things along the way.

Work in progess and a box

I made this box. Was the first one I tried and I think that I will be making quite a few of these.

This quilt is a work in progress. With all the embroidery on it, it has taken a while to sew. Working on the borders now in between orders. I am thinking of using htis for my duaghters bed once it is done.

show and tell

William wanted a blue tractor quilt. So I made him this. All fabric is from my stash. I did a rag quilt for him. I added a layer of fleece to the flannel for extra warmth. This pic was before I clipped all the seams and washed it. I need to get a pic of it now. it is very snuggly. He LOVES it. ;o)
